Reports emerging suggest that Sanchez may not start for Man United in the Champions League encounter against Young Boys on Wednesday
Alexis Sanchez hasn’t been able to produce the form he had while at Arsenal since his move to Man United last winter transfer. He has been a subject matter with majority of United fans not being satisfied with his contribution. Despite his work rate, the Chilean has scored just 4 goals in 38 appearances.
Mourinho is beginning to lose patience which has seen Sanchez being substituted in his last two games for United. His arrival in January has affected some players including Martial who couldn’t make the World Cup winning French team in Russia.
Reports emerging suggest that Sanchez may not start for Man United in the Champions League encounter against Young Boys on Wednesday. Although, he has traveled with the team to Switzerland, but it seem Rashford who was sent off against Burnley in the previous Premier League match against Burnley will be taking his place. Rashford who recently had a successful international break with England has also been discussed by pundits who suggests he leaves the club if he is to fulfill his potential.
Man United were an utter embarrassment when they got sent packing by Sevilla in the Champions League last season and would want to avoid similar situation this season. They have been grouped alongside, Juventus, Valencia and Young Boys.
Sanchez is reportedly the highest paid player in the club, and despite his huge weekly wage, he hasn’t been able to deliver for the club.
Who is to blame for Sanchez’s drop in form?
