Harry Kane scored a rare hat trick as England beat Panama 6-1 on Sunday afternoon to qualify for the next round of the ongoing World Cup in Russia. The Tottenham player became the first to score a hat trick in this year’s competition, taking his tally to five to top the goal scoring chart.
Man City’s defender, Stones got the English team off to a flying start, heading home from a flick from Harry and in the 6th minute. Moment later, Harry Kane converted from the spot after Lingard was taken down inside Panama’s box. Lingard then stepped up the scoreline with a beautiful curling shot from outside the box to make it 3-0. Stones scored another while Kane scored again from the penalty spot to put the scoreline at 5-0 by half time.
England slowed down in the second half but that didn’t stop Harry Kane from completing his hat trick after Loftus-Cheek had a low driven shot deflected by Kane into the Panama’s goal to make it 6-0. Finally, 37 year old Baloy scored a consolation for the North American to become their first player in history to score in World Cup.
