The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU) has honoured Wole Soyinka in a major way. The house the highly acclaimed Nobel prize winner Professor Wole Soyinka lived in while lecturing at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) has been redesigned into a museum for public visits.
He was a professor of Comparative literature between 1875 to 1999 at the faculty of arts in OAU. To honour him, the institution and Ogun state government have come together to convert his house into a beautiful museum showcasing his pictures and works in grand style.
