Olasunkanmi Esho, a Chicago based Nigerian pharmacist has allegedly killed his Cameroonian wife, Bourk Esho, and his eight year old daughter, Olivia.
The 42 year old man lived in Illinois, Chicago, in the United States of America, allegedly shot his himself dead after killing his wife and daughter.
According to the Chicago tribune it is unclear, if the couple had any disagreement prior to the incident. The Darien Police Department had started investigations into the tragedy which happened in their apartment building on 75th street, farmindale drive.
Speaking on the incident, Darien Police Commander, Gerald Piccoli, said that the police responded to a call about shots fired, and when they got their three people were found.
He also mentioned that following up on the incident, the police checked round the area and there was no threat to the community.
The neighbours said they saw the police moving a car out of the building, but the police said the car was towed as part of the evidence at the scene for the police department.
A Facebook user, Djeric Lemessi who claimed to be a family friend of the couple said the couple was survived by their 13 year old son who was not at the exact place of the shooting.
He further explained that, the boy heard gunshots and went to call his mom that he heard gunshots only to see his father, mother and sister in a pool of blood. He tried to carry the sister out to seek for help, but she died in his arms.
Some other neighbours said they saw the wife the morning before the incident and they chatted with her and her late daughter.
Police are still investigating the incident and we hope they get to the bottom of the whole matter.
