Former Super Eagles and Everton striker, Victor Anichebe has reported his own club to FIFA over allegations of match-fixing.

Former Everton and West Brom striker Anichebe joined Chinese second tier side Beijing Enterprises in June last year after he was released by Sunderland.

But after making 11 appearances for the outfit, the Nigerian stopped playing last October after he complained to the club after he was allegedly asked “not to try” on two occasions by coaches.

After challenging the instruction, Anichebe says his teammates told him: “This is China we do as we’re told.”

The 30-year-old then took legal advice from UK based lawyer Chris Farnell, who complained to Beijing’s General Manager twice – but no action was taken.
