Man United vs Arsenal: It’s All Square at Old Trafford
Man United and Arsenal put up an entertaining display as they drew 2-2 at Old Trafford in one of the midweek Premier league fixtures.
Although, Bookmakers had tipped Man United to win with a lower odds, it is not a secret that they are the underdogs especially when you consider their recent home form this season.
United started well but it was Arsenal that got the first goal through a De Gea’s hower granting the visitors from a Mertasacker’s header 26th minutes into the game. Martial equalized for United four miinutes later after pounding home a rebound from Rojo’s close range free kick.
Rojo’s own goal grant Arsenal the lead in the second half but could not last a minute as Lingard equalized from a close range. Arsenal had efforts denied by De Gea and had one goal rule out for offside. The game ended 2-2.
Chelsea suffered their second successive away defeats after being defeated by Wolves. The home team had to come from a goal down to score two second half goals which proved to become a disappointing night to the Sarriball merchants.
Liverpool enjoyed another late win after coming from a goal down to beat Burnley 3-1 at the Turf Moore stadium. James Milner, Shaqiri and Firminho were all on target for the Red Kops in a game which Salah did not start. Tottenham continue to impress as they beat drowning Southampton 3-1 at the Wembley Stadium
