The Governing Council of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso has reported a decrease in the proposed tuition fee which created overwhelming discussion in the organization.
This is contained in an announcement marked by the establishment’s Head, Public and Alumni Relations Unit, Olalekan Fadeyi, and made accessible to newsmen on Saturday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reviews that the administration of the foundation had as of late declared an expansion in the tuition fees, which pulled in judgment by partners.
The tuition was expanded from N65,000 to N200,000 for indigenes, while non-indigenes were relied upon to pay N250,000 from N72,000.
The announcement said that the council Chairman, Prof. Oladapo Afolabi, has coordinated that the proposed tuition fees in the Institution be cut down.
Afolabi said that the new tuition ought to be N140,000 for indigenes of proprietor states and N170,000 for non-indigenes as against the prior N200,000 and N250,000, individually.
Additionally, the administration of the foundation has declared Monday (Oct. 29) as resumption date.
