The recent killings by the Fulani herdsmen in Benue has angered the youth and has led to a massive protest. The federal government have been accused of keeping silent on the situation because the president does not want to hurt his people. The youth also accused the Benue government of being incapacitated of securing their lives and properties and this means they will stand up to defend their territory themselves.
Speaking to Galaxy News, the spokeman of The Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin has also accused the federal government of not taking the issue seriously.
