EPL Update! Arsenal Continue to Struggle as Questions Raised Over Ozil’s Absence
Arsenal were again without playmaker, Mesut Ozil in their 1-0 defeat to Westham after a very disappointing performance on Saturday afternoon. Having lost 5-0 to Liverpool in the last Premier League match, Arsenal continue to struggle as the chance for making top four finish becomes more impossible.
Noticeably, Ozil was missing in the squad, he did not even make the reserve bench as his absence has begun to lead to Arsenal fans raising some questions as to his relationship with the manager. His absence is in no doubt being felt as there was no player in the team that could take up the responsibility of a playmaker.
Former Arsenal, Samir Nasri who made his debut for Westham eighteen months after being banned by the World’s Football governing body, FIFA for doping allegation provided the assist which led to the only goal scored by Rice.
Elsewhere, Liverpool and Chelsea both win their respective match against Brighton and Newcastle. Liverpool had to rely on Salah’s second half penalty which was enough for the leaders to extend their lead at the top. Chelsea laboured to a 2-1 victory, thanks to a stunning curled shot from Willian in the second half after Newcastle player had earlier cancelled out Pedro’s early first half goal
We are truly in the peak banter era of Arsenal FC.
They've somehow found themselves needing a Spurs win against United tomorrow, £350k p/w Ozil can't even get in the squad & now a pornstar is calling out one of their players on Twitter.
What a time to be alive.

Emery not the problem at Arsenal. Neither, really, is Ozil. They are front-of-house scapegoats engaging in a power battle but this masks the desperate need for major spending to sort out central defence, central midfield and left-back positions. Kroenke must pay up or sell up.
