Despite fans complaint that the N15,000 ticket price was too high, they paid to show their love and support to the Nigerian act.
Many Nigerians opined that 26th December was the perfect time to continue with the Christmas spirit before they resume work on the 27th.
However, as at 2:15 am, Burna Boy was yet to show up at his own concert. Owing to the many complaints of Nigerians about how it has become disrespectful to start a concert late, it seems like Burna did not respect or try to change this impression.
Eventually, Burna Boy pulled a stunning performance at his headline sold-out show alongside other artist like D’banj, Wizkid, Davido and 2baba.
The ‘Gbona’ singer performed his hit songs such as ‘On the Low’, ‘Ye’ and ‘Wo Da Mo’ with D’banj who brought his famous harmonica to stage which excited fans.
It was reported that while the event went on, fans shared live updates on Twitter and were full of praises for the energetic performances from Burna Boy and the other artists.
@IamAbdul tweeted, “My favourite part of #Burnalive was when Burna Boy was performing ‘Killin them’ alongside Zlatan.”
@Bissi96 said, “Thank you King Burna. Even though things happened, we are glad you stole our hearts once again.”
