Buhari, First African Leader to Be Received by Trump

Donald Trump is to welcome Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari in Washington later on Monday, becoming the first African leader to meet the United State’s president. Buhari arrived Blair House, the US Presidential Guest House where he will be staying throughout his three-day working visit.

The American President will be at the central of attraction following his controversial remarks about African continent, describing the place as a shithole few months back, although he later denied.

According to a White House statement, the talks will focus on fighting terrorism and insecurity, economic growth and democratic development in Nigeria, set to hold presidential polls in February next year.
