The presidential flag bearer of People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has reportedly arrived Abeokuta, the home of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in a bid to get support for his 2019 Presidential Ambition.

Atiku, who recently emerged PDP candidate, hopes to convince the former president to support his ambition years after both fell out due to his ambition to rule Nigeria.

But it now looks like they are back in terms as Mr Obasanjo received his former Vice in his Abeokuta home at about 1:12 p.m in a bid to discuss Atiku’s mission to defeat incumbent president Buhari who is the running candidate for All Progressive Congress (APC)

He was accompanied on the visit by the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, and the Director General of the Atiku Campaign Organisation, Gbenga Daniel.

After spending hours behind a close door meeting, it was confirmed the the former President had endorsed Atiku to become Nigeria’s next president in 2019
