The African Democratic Congress, which was recently adopted by the Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo have said in an interview with punch correspondent that they are going to shut down Aso Rock; the presidential Villa, if Obasanjo is harmed in any way.
This was made known by the chairman of ADC, Chief Okey Nwosu during a telephone interview. Nwosu said when Obasanjo was supporting APC in 2015 he was described as an advocate of change but the same man is now a criminal because he is speaking against APC.
The Chairman further said that the Former president cannot be touch saying that if that happens, they will mobilise the whole Nigeria to take over Aso Rock Villa.

Adetokunbo Mumuni, SERAP Director also said that the Witch-hunt alarm by the former president was unnecessary as the anti-graft agencies must carry out their statutory responsibilities.
Mumuni stated further that it is not the president that is setting the EFCC on anyone but the agencies must do their jobs, and if any admissible evidences are found against the former president, then he will be prosecuted.
I don’t think we should listen to Obasanjo, rather we should let the EFCC do what is legally appropriate and prosecute anyone who is supposed to be prosecuted, he said.
Malachy Ugwummadu, CDHR President also said that it will be a positive development if the present government can muster enough courage to take on Obasanjo, it will show that all the people in the league of the former president can be taken up.
