Sean Tizzle has been reportedly trying to make a comeback with the release of new singles with catchy tunes. A lot of fans believe the Rnb/Hip-Hop artist is highly underrated and deserves more recognition than he is currently getting.
Some critics have blamed his long music break as the cause of his current situation as an artist riddled by low relevance. Sean Tizzle at the peak of his career was compared with Davido and Wizkid as a force to reckon with.
His Video Pempe stars himself and a beautiful light skinned model. They are shown frolicking with one another in a dark hall filled with mist. The high points of the video are the dark hue, the fire on the umbrellas, the colour grading, the make-up and the costume. Both stars looked beautiful to watch and even though the video is minimalist, the location felt rich with the subtle elements placed in strategic positions.
However, like most Nigeria music videos, Pempe lacked any real story. It tried to paint a picture of one but it didn’t have a well-defined structure. But the directing still made it fun to watch and you categorically call it average.
Above all, it is a beautiful video and it’s high points make it average on our scorecards. It is simply neither good nor bad as such we give it a 50% rating. What do you think about our analysis? Please share your thoughts below.
