Gernot Rohr has been rewarded with 2 year contract extension for his role in helping Super Eagles book a ticket for 2018 World Cup in Russia
The two-year contract of Nigeria’s head coach, Gernot Rohr, has been stretched out as a matter of course, following the nation’s qualification for the 2018 World Cup.
Rohr earned a two-year contract with an option of an additional two years, if Nigeria meets all requirements for the World Cup in Russia which they achieved when they beat Zambia last week.
The German would have been fied, in the event that he failed to lead the former African champions to the competition, as per the terms of the agreement.
