1. You do not regret the things you do not have
Gratitude helps us to see what is good and to recognize positive things. When something bad happens, you have the ability to thank for something worse not to have happened, and try to identify the positive things about this obstacle. You understand that every second is not a second, but that is a second full of many things to thank.
If you take care to mourn what you do not have and the bad things that have happened, you will do it all your life and you will not have the heart to go in search of these things that you lack, and you will not recognize when good things happen.
