Ada Slim May Have Gotten More Fame Because of Rift With Tonto Dikeh
It seems everyone is trying to take advantage of Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh’s marital woes to climb to limelight or better still pour their grievances against her.
Barely a week after emerging from the shadows to attack actress Tonto Dikeh on social media; filmmaker and actress, Ada Slim has announced the release of three movies,
The timing of her resurfacing and spat with Dikeh shows a well-staged social media drama to create awareness for her upcoming projects.
Slim during the rift with the actress revealed that although she had been in the wilderness for several years, the whole brouhaha was to push out her fresh projects.
The three movies, Kenny’s Divas, Papa Bomboy and How To Play A Player were written and produced by Slim.
Speaking on one of the flicks, Ada Slim said;
“Kenny’s Divas is one movie after my heart. Aside going all out to get my godfather, Pete Edochie to star in the movie, I was awed by the sterling performance each act on the movie delivered and this I can say is what will keep the fans on the edge of their seats all through”.
“I’ve been working for a while and not many knew what I was up to but it was indeed a lot of hard work with lots of resources also put to good use by my team. We have three movies shot and ready for the market and they are Kenny’s Divas, Papa Bomboy a comedy and a romantic drama, How To Play A Player”.
Kenny’s Divas features Pete Edochie, Bryan Okwara, Juliet Ibrahim, Oby Somina Okafor and Ruby Dabbour while Papa Bomboy stars Eniola Badmus, Dayo Davies, Ejine Okoroafor amongst others.
Meanwhile, How To Play A Player features Alexx Ekubo, Nora Roberts, Derenle Edun, Onyi Alex and Uche Nnanna.
Ada Slim, asides producing the movies also has a role in each of them.
Although she laid out legitimate grievances against Tonto Dikeh when she called her out on social media, it would be hard for Ada Slim to deny that the episode raised public interest in her and by effect, on her new projects.
